The economically valuable raw material from our local forests

RESOURCE FOREST

We can rightly claim that our raw material supply is predominantly regional.

Our main sources of supply include the Spessart, the Rhön, the Odenwald and the Steigerwald; these forests are within a radius of 75 km.

Among the catchment areas, the Steigerwald, one of the best beech growing areas in Germany, deserves special mention, as does the Spessart, which became nationally known for its mildly grown oak (Quercus petraea).

Our raw material is still taken over by our buyer, Sven Süssner, trunk by trunk in the forests. In this way we can guarantee a sustainable supply in the quality we need.

Years ago, we underscored the fact that sustainability in forestry is important to us with FSC and PEFC certification.
